According to the report, BenQ Middle EastBenQ Middle EastBenQ Middle East topped the list with over 30% market share in third quarter across MEA region. Currently BenQBenQBenQ Middle East is ranked Number one in KSA & Number 2 in projectors in UAE. Phenomenal Year on Year growth in Saudi Arabia (129.08%) & Rest of the Middle East (299.20%) was a major hallmark in Q308. Overall, the BenQ Group is in a solid position - ranked one among top three in 31 countries. BenQ also stands at Number one in the worldwide DLP projector market as per current DTC rankings.

"The results demonstrate our ability in providing a powerful combination of great technology and strong execution by our partners and our sales and marketing teams. We are indeed very happy with the results and we hope to perform better in coming times," said Manish Bakshi, General Manager, BenQ Middle East and Africa.

MEA growth varied significantly by country, but it is clearly evident that the launch of latest Short Throw technology projectors, much ahead of the competitors in Q308, is the major factor behind our impressive performance and has enhanced our overall market presence & projector market share across the Middle East. Most importantly, BenQ has grabbed the top spot (in short throw projectors) in 10 countries including Japan, a highly demanding & competitive market.

The all new BenQ MP512ST & MP522ST, MP771 projectors, which make up BenQ 's new short-throw projector series, delivers larger pictures at shorter distances. With its short-throw ratio lens precisely calculated and positioned, these projectors are able to deliver large-screen projection in tight spaces without jeopardizing picture quality.
"Our key to success has always been product innovation and technology that facilitates user convenience. Plus, consistent focus, dedicated resources and over 10 years of proficiency in projector technology has formed a solid foundation for robust year-on-year growth in market share," said Bakshi.

A tight retail channel network was also a key factor for extraordinary volume growth. The company's proactive approach in establishing a good channel network with big-hitting distributors has helped it strengthen local support, claims BenQ. Right from keeping the distributors updated on the latest BenQ technology such as the in-built short throw projectors, wide XGA resolution and HDMI Connectivity to organizing regular dealer meets/product launch seminars, BenQ does it all as part of its ongoing strategy to achieve the highest levels of channel confidence.

Plus a series of firsts (launching new technologies before competitors) has also assisted BenQ lift its brand image for projectors when compared to other player in the industry.
